US129 is a road that has 318 turns over an 11 mile stretch and is sought out by all sorts of motor heads throughout the year.

Its that time to start up the official thread for MTOD '11. The 2nd Annual Mitsubishi's Take On the Dragon Meet is fast approaching. Gameplan for the weekend will surround the trip to the Tail of The Dragon US HWY 129. For those who haven't heard about this road, it is one of the biggest car enthusiast roads in the country. In an 11 mile stretch, this hwy contains 318 turns. Its every car nuts dream.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all the DSM/Evo guys that are gearing up to make the trek out this year. It will be nice to see some new faces and meet some new people.

I will be working with Russ over the next several weeks to revamp the page and get all the stuff updated for 2011.

As I drive thru Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, I hear a buzz in the air. Yes Mitsu's are buzzing around the roads. As I sit here typing this there are 6 Mitsu's sitting outside just itching to hit the dragon. Hope everyone's drives were uneventful and everyone has a great time tonight.

MTOD '10 is upon us, so with that being said, hope everyone has safe travels and get to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area in one piece. This site will be updated throught the weekend so stay tuned for pics from different events and information regarding where/when things are going on.
